Flower Alien

This piece shows how I can create a unique, never seen before alien from an original idea. I wanted to combine multiple animals and plants into once cohesive creature in this piece. I started with the question of "What if all animals developed plant-like camouflage?" As this has been seen in many forms of insects as a form of self-preservation. Here I wanted to create first and foremost a frilled lizard combined with a lily, which transformed into having a scorpion-like undercarriage and leg structure to amplify his creepy creature-ness.
